Dave C
RMO / President
David was born in a small farming town in northern Michigan. His three best friends were all plumbers and got him into the plumbing trade shortly out of high school. He comes from a large and close family, and plans on having or adopting kids one day in the not to distant future.
He believes in treating others in a respectful and kind manner, and that everyone is equal to one another. He believes in staying open to learning and becoming a better person, a and feels lucky to have a career that he still loves and takes pride in after 15 years in the business. He also considers himself a great problem solver and solution finder and takes great pride in and stands by his work.
He started by doing foundation work as well as under ground plumbing and drain tile work. This was the start of a long and very diverse career as a plumber. After 2 years of underground work he hired on at a larger company as one of 4 people to supervise underground repair crews and new underground plumbing installations. This includes repairing and replacing broken sewer lines. Install and fixing under ground water mains. From new city water and sewer taps to the house.
After that he ran service for high end home owners in the suburbs of Oakland County just out side of the metro Detroit area. He ran residential service for almost 5 years. This included everything from snaking drains the faucet repairs. Then he was promoted to running the commercial service accounts. This included clients like Olive Garden, TGIF, Best Buy, Henry Ford Hospital, Mc Donalds, Burger King as well as many local bars, and apartment complexes. In the commercial accounts division he got certified in back flow device testing and repair as well as certified in flex pipe gas line installations. Two years later he moved to San Francisco to start his new life and business.
Once in San Francisco he hired in at a local company to learn the city and local plumbing codes. He worked for that company for two years and did new construction and remodel work. This was right up his alley since it was the last side of the business he had not worked in. Upon leaving after the 2 years he opened Aqua Star Plumbing and continued to do new construction and remodel work here in San Francisco. Now expanding back into service work Aqua Star Plumbing wants to be able to address more needs for our customers in the bay area.
Erin
Office Manager
Even though Erin has only been living in the Bay Area for the last year and a half, she and Dave have been friends for almost 7 years. Erin was a flight attendant for a major airline for 6 years and then an executive assistant to a CEO of a financial firm for 5 years.
She wears many hats and is very high energy. She loves interacting with the public and always handles situations with the utmost sense of kindness and professionalism. She looks forward to taking your calls and working with the customer to schedule your repairs in a quick and professional manor.
Alec
Plumber
Alec was born on a organic farm in up-state New York. He has travel the world from back packing across South America, to cross country bike riding across Europe. After settling down and planting his roots in San Francisco. He went to Waldorf schools from K-12. He has been in the plumbing industry for 7 years now and currently holds a C36 Plumbing license from the state of California.
He enjoys his job and has a curiosity of how plumbing systems and solutions work. And of course, he believes in treating all others with kindness and respect.
